Superbowl Chic

Hey Ladies,

It is almost that time for Super Bowl Sunday!Β  I am not a fanatical sports fan as most of you know, but I do love getting into the spirit of a big game such as this and you might as well look fabulous while doing so! (And I am not going to lie, Steven Tyler’s scarf did slightly inspire this post).

As I am sure you have noticed a lot of this gear can be quite expensive. On top of that, items are selling out fast. I no longer have the pictures from the Victoria’s Secret Pink Collection NFL Gear since those items are no longer available! However, here are some of my favorite that are still available online and are more reasonably priced.

I love the feel and look of the vintage style T Shirts

This Etsy Store also has a lot of great custom options at such a bargain

For my west coast readers who may not be rooting for either team neccessarily but will be attending a party this Sweatshirt may be an alternative by keeping it non specific

For those who do not want to spend too much buying a shirt or Jersey(which is a lot more). Adding a scarf to an outfit rocking the team colors also shows your spirit

And of course Lucy’s Leaugue (the fabulous Ladies Sports Gear Shop in Faneuil Hall) has so many things that are pretty outrageously expensive. I do love this scarf because it does not scream sports, but you are still representing your team!

For those on an even tighter budget, hair bows are another alternative. You could wear it cheerleader style on the back of your ponytail if it is big. If it is a small bow you could put it on one side of your hair.

If money is really really tight, why not make your own shirt? You can purchase bedazzeled patches for under $10 and add your own flair to a red or navy shirt you already own

If you have a four legged friend, he or she may want to get in on the action too πŸ™‚

Make sure to order soon if you are going the online route, so you can save your hard earned money on more clothes rather than expedited shipping costs! I will make sure to post some pics from next Sunday too (as well as the other photos I am behind on).

Thanks again for reading this πŸ™‚ Keep sending me your feed back. Happy Shopping!
